Support
There are a number of options to support the Mountain Ridge Football program financially, via either direct donations, participation in fundraising events, or through tax credit donations.
The opportunity is now to make tax credit donations to help cover the expenses for your player for the upcoming 2024 football season. There are two separate options available that can BOTH be utilized; The Arizona Public School Tax Credit, and the Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO) tax credit.
The Arizona Public School Tax Credit permits up to $400 (married filing jointly) or $200 for filing single.
The BILT Foundation can be used as a Qualifying Charitable Organization where up to $841 (2023, married filing jointly) or $421 (2023, single) can be contributed. For 2024 tax returns (filed in 2025), these numbers increase to $938 (married filing jointly) and $470 (single).
For both of the above, these are tax credits and therefore lower the taxes you owe by this amount, effectively costing you nothing in the long run, while supporting your athlete and school.
The above material (and links provided below) are provided for informational purposes only, and are not intended to provide, and should not be relied on for tax or accounting advice. You should consult your own tax and accounting advisors before engaging in any transaction.
Please reach out if you have any questions on how these tax credits help reduce your expenses or help the team.
